CHS AFTER PROM INFORMATION & RULES

(APPLIES TO ALL ATTENDEES AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIAN)

The Centennial High School PTSA is sponsoring CHS’s 2023 After Prom party, CHS Late Night, to be held on May 13-14, 2023 from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.  The event will be held at the Main Event Columbia located in The Mall in Columbia.  

WHO MAY ATTEND:  CHS Late Night is open to ALL Centennial High School (“CHS”) juniors and seniors, even if they do not attend the Prom. CHS sophomores and freshmen, as well as dates who are NOT CHS students, may attend CHS Late Night ONLY IF they attend the CHS Prom

COST TO ATTEND:  The fee for the event is $25.00 (plus $10.00 if they wish to ride the bus). Payment can be made by online payment, cash, or check payable to CHS PTSA. 

TRANSPORTATION:  Students have the choice of providing their own transportation from Prom to CHS Late Night. They may also chooe to take the CHS PTSA-sponsored buses for a fee.  The cost to ride the bus is $10.00 and students must pay the fee IN ADVANCE.  They may NOT pay to ride the bus at Prom.  

ENTRANCE AND PARKING:  The entrance to CHS Late Night is located at Main Event in The Columbia Mall.  Students should park in the parking lot close to this area if they chose to either drive to the event or leave their car there for departure. 

FOOD:  I Heart Pizza, Caesar Salad, Veggie Pasta, Signature Queso Platter, Pastries, Fruit Yogurts, Fruit Skewers, Coffee, Juices, Soft Drink, Tea and Water provided by Main Event.

FUN:   Bowling, Laser Tag, Billiards, Shuffleboard, Arcade, Party Street.

PRIZES:  Gadgets, concert and movie tickets, gift cards and so much more.  NOTE:  Students must be present at the event when winners are drawn in order to win any prizes/prize packages.  If the winner has already left the event, a new winner will be drawn.

TICKET PURCHASE, RULES & WAIVER:  By purchasing a ticket to CHS LATE NIGHT (and a bus ticket if applicable), you agree and abide by the CHS LATE NIGHT RULES (noted in RESTRICTIONS below), consent to the CHS LATE NIGHT WAIVER RELEASE (noted in EVENT WAIVER),  and submit your completed payment via Tickeatleap on announced sales dates. 

TICKETING & SALES:   Purchase tickets online only via Ticketleap. All sales end on Wednesday, May 10th at 5 PM EST. 

*Note: Only 1 ticket is available for purchase at a time. To purchase multiple tickets, please submit the form multiple times.

Under "Your Info," please fill in information for the purchaser (person filling out the form). 

Under "Additional Questions," please fill in information for the student who the ticket is being purchased for (CHS student, or the guest of a CHS student. This may be the purchaser themselves, or for another person).

Restrictions

CHS LATE NIGHT RULES:  

The following rules have been implemented for the safety of all the students/guests attending CHS After Prom and must be followed without exception:

THIS IS A CHEMICAL FREE EVENT:

No Alcohol, Drugs or Smoking of any kind will be permitted.  This includes, but is not limited to, the use of a Juul, Phix, Sourin, Dab Pen or any similar device.  Items will be confiscated if found.  The police will be called for any violations involving criminal behavior.  All students/guests must exhibit positive and "school appropriate" behavior at all times.  Anyone who appears to be intoxicated or is being disruptive in any manner will be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the CHS PTSA. Parents/Guardians will be contacted in the event of any actions resulting in expulsion from the event and/or intervention by police/security.

PLEASE BRING YOUR ID:

Attendees may be asked to show school ID/drivers license at check in.

NO ADMITTANCE TO THE EVENT AFTER 12:00 A.M.

Check out will not begin until 12:00 am and students WILL NOT BE ALLOWED return once they leave.

STORAGE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

inspection.  No food or liquids of any kind may be brought into the event from the outside.CHS After Prom will provide a storage location for your prom attire, bags and personal belongings after students check in.  Alternatively, students may change in the bathrooms located at the entrance to CHS After Prom and return their personal belongings to their parents or parked vehicles prior to check in.  CHS PTSA is not responsible for any items brought to and/or stored at CHS After Prom. Students MUST check any personal bags they bring to CHS After Prom at check-in. All personal belongings are subject to search at any time and CHS PTSA eserve the right to ask students to empty pockets for inspection.  No food or liquids of any kind may be brought into the event from the outside.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM CHS AFTER PROM:

Parents/guardians and students are responsible for transportation to and from CHS After Prom.  CHS PTSA sponsored buses are available to transport Prom goers from the Prom site (Martin's West 6817 Dogwood Road Baltimore, MD 21244) to CHS After Prom provided student has pre-purchased a bus ticket.  No bus tickets will be sold at Prom or After Prom.


PROVISIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE HOLDERS:  

The Howard County Police Department has granted an exception for provisional license holders so that these drivers may drive home from CHS After Prom, provided that they obtain a “pass” at Check-Out which states what time the student left the event.
